Hard to believe we’ve only got two more updates to go before this book concludes! It’s crazy to think that summer is now winding down and we’ll soon be chronicling the very last issue of this volume! And with that in mind…

If you’re a member of my Patreon, you might have seen the announcement I made earlier today. With Varulv wrapping up its first story arc by the end of the year, I have been coming up with new ways to keep my very kind supporters involved in my creative process, and to that end, will soon be offering original art, prints, stickers, sketches and more to my Patrons at select tiers! And on the subject of stuff coming in the mail — I’m nearly done with the sketch covers to all the Artbooks, and will be sending them to their homes, shortly! Had a little hiccup with our friends at Furaffinity getting their domain confiscated, but since the dust has now settled there, the production line is once again going strong! If you ordered one of these editions, be sure to check your mail next week!

Big news on the Artbook front as well! The books have arrived and I’m ready to start drawing all over them! For those of you who ordered, my goal is to complete the sketches and have them all in the mail, next week! I’ll keep you posted!

Also, hot off the presses – Varulv Issue #2 proofs came in the mail and they looked awesome! Those of you collecting the individual floppies of each issue can look forward to getting your very own, soon. These puppies will be available for purchase on our IndyPlanet store in the coming weeks!

Apologies for the late update, tonight. Had a schedule today that was crammed full of things to do, and I didn’t leave myself a lot of time to set everything up for today’s pages on the site, here. I do hope you can forgive me.

Another update coming your way, tonight! Really throwing you readers right into the thick of the action with our first two-page spread since the Varulv Classic era. Lucky for Blaidfästt, the city’s issue of lacking an established guard seems to have found a workaround in a citizen’s milita. Had a great time at the James V. Brown library last weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out to say hi! My next convention appearance will also be my last for the year, so if you’re local to the East coast, come out this November and see me at Manehim’s Kids Love Comics comvention!

As some of you were made aware yesterday – our plans for Artbooks have hit a bit of a snag in production, but it seems there will only be a small delay in shipping! I’ve placed the order with a different printer as of last night, and we’re back on track to get the books in your hands by mid-August! If you purchased a printed Artbook, make sure you sign in to your Gumroad account so you can enjoy the digital copy in the meantime, and also so you can read up on all the details!

In other news, I’m heading to a small convention at the James V. Brown Library in Williamsport, tomorrow! Come say hi if you’re in the area — I’ll have coloring pages, will be doing sketches, and more! This will be a family-friendly event, so bring the little ones, too!

Varulv Issue #3 Begins Now! Pages 1-3 Uploaded!

Hello and well-met, friendos!

I can hardly believe it, but today begins the first updates of Varulv issue #3! We join our heroes once again as the conflict between the Trolls, Iele, and the villagers of Blaidfästt approaches an all-out war. The Jarl has been unseated and our werewolfy good guys are already being forced to meet the opposition head-on. Needless to say, there’s lots of action ahead!

In other news, I’m waiting for my prints of Varulv Artbooks and Issue #2 to be ready at the printer! Next week, I’ll also be heading to a local convention at the James V. Brown Library here in Williamsport Pennsylvania! If you too, are local, feel free to come by and say hello! More on that, next week!

More cool stuff is on the horizon that I’m not at liberty to talk about just yet, and my schedule has admittedly gotten quite packed this summer, so lots of things are still being worked on behind-the-scenes which I can’t share just yet. I thought now would therefore be as good a time as any to promote my Patreon Page, where you can get exclusive looks at some of those behind-the-scenes things, hi-res compilations of the books, and much more. I’m doing a ton of freelance work and anything you guys want to throw at me on as a one-time or monthly donation is always appreciated and helps to keep the series going and free to read!

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to be starting our third issue of the series, and know you’re going to love all the groovy things I’ve got planned that are just around the bend!

July 5, 2024: Gearing up for Issue 3!

Updates begin next Friday!

Hey gang!

Some exciting things on the horizon as we look ahead to issue #3’s premiere next week! First off, I wanted to say that a most excellent time was had by all at Hershey Comicon, and I adored meeting everyone who came out to say hello! My next convention will be a small, mini-comicon, here in Williamsport, Pennsylvania at the James V. Brown Library. Check out the details, here.

Second, I’m planning a second run of sketch covers for those of you who missed out on getting the Varulv #1 Art Book. These will be reprints of Varulv issue 1, available for puchase as blanks, perpetually, as well as from me (including a sketch or signature). More on that, soon!

Finally, Issues #2 and The Varulv Art Book are ready for printing, and I’m just waiting on an ETA on their shipment to me at this point! Issue #2 will be available for purchase through our online store at IndyPlanet, in the coming weeks!

June 21, 2024: Issue #3 Update Schedule

And so much more!

Hey gang!

Exciting times — I’ve finished the cover art for issue #3! Check it out to your right, here. Too, I wanted to officially announce that Varulv will commence with the third issue in our series, “Alliances”, on July 12, 2024!

Next, I’ve uploaded Issue #2 to Amazon, so expect it to be available for Kindle as soon as it clears the review process! The book is also ready to go to print and should be available in physical media in the coming month or so.

Now, onto some bad news — I didn’t quite hit the mark when formatting the Varulv artbooks for the printer, and have to resubmit my files after I make a few formatting changes this weekend. No big deal, but it’s a bit of a setback, and you all can absoutely blame me for that one.

Regardless, things should still ship, as promised, before the end of the July, so if you pre-ordered one, we’re so far still on schedule to get them out to you!

June 14, 2024: Finishing up Artbooks

Coming soon-ish!

Hey gang!

This week, I wanted to wrap up work on the Issue #1 Artbooks that so many of you preordered. I had a lot of fun making these and showing off some of the concepts I developed for the series, as well as some art for things yet to come! The whole project should be wrapped and off to the presses by this weekend, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Next week, I start page work on Varulv #3, officially. Really excited to be getting to this part in the story – a lot of action, a lot of drama, and none of it will really be slowing down until the first volume is complete at the end of issue #4. Can’t wait to show you!

As a reminder, I’ll be at Hershey Comic Con, June 29th and 30th, so if you’re in the area and in the mood for a comic convention, stop on by!
